<p>In order to prepare an individual heating cost bill, there is attached to each heater a measuring instrument which determines from the measured surface temperature of the heater an instantaneous heating power and determines the specific heating energy in the course of an assessment period and adds them up in a counter. The individual counter contents can be read out by placing a reader (9) on each measuring unit (1) that is present and assigned to a consumer. The read out counter contents are checked for accuracy and completeness at a central accounting point, and used for billing heating costs. Checking eliminates defective measurements, so that reading out the counters is not to be done by an authorised person but can be carried out by the consumer himself.</p> |
