PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the side air bag device for an automobile held surely in a subassembly state without the shifting of a holder for the long hole for supporting the holder in a support member, even if the support to a car body constitution member is loosened. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a holder 22 in which stud bolts 24 are projected and an inflator 21 is stored, a support member 23 consisting of the surrounding 23a of the holder except the position side having a spout 22a and a support part 23b held by tightening the stud bolt and an airbag main body 25. In the support part 23b, long holes 27 are formed in front/rear so that the stud bolt can be inserted in the holder by a supported state and also moved to the installation position of the stud bolt and in the support part 23b and surrounding 23a, a temporary stop member 28 riding to both is arranged and also the bolts 24 can be supported so as not to be relatively moved for the support member 23 at the installation position of the stud bolt by the temporary stop member. |
