FRIED FOOD AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fried food where the appearance of the fried food is improved and the content is recognizable. SOLUTION: This fried food is produced by including a core ingredient in an intermediate one so as to become multilayered in such a way that at least a part of the core ingredient is exposed from the intermediate one and then by frying them in a state that the intermediate ingredient is partially coated. The method for producing the fried food comprises the above procedures. The adhesion of a batter liquid and/or a coating food material to exposed portions is prevented by being sprinkled with separating powder. A potato, a pumpkin or the like in a steamed and mashed state is used as the intermediate ingredient, and corn, spinach or the like is used as the core ingredient.
