Non-slip coating for the bottoms of swimming baths or access locks for these, etc., consisting of a mixt. of a resin lacquer and quartz sand, applied as a liquid. An effective non-slip coating is produced which is permanently retained and easy to apply. The resin lacquer is pref. based on polyurethane-forming cpds. e.g. polyisocyanates and polyhydroxyl cpds., or consists of chlorinated rubber compounds. The quartz sand which constitutes 60-40 vol. % and more especially 50 vol. % of the mixture has a particle size of 1-5 mm and preferably 2 mm, but may contain a range of sizes. |
