METHOD FOR MAKING FINE REDUCED IRON INTO MASS FOR PRODUCING MOLTEN IRON USING SLUDGE

PURPOSE: A mass making method of fine reduced iron using sludge is provided to simplify processes, to use waste sludge, and to improve recovery ratio of iron contained in waste sludge by solidifying fine reduced iron by using elastic element in sludge and caking reduce iron in high temperature. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate/fine particular reduce iron discharge pipe(32) and a sludge supply pipe(53) are connected on the upper part of a mixer(50). One or more discharge screws(51) or one or more vibrators(52) composed to discharge a mixture of fine particular reduce iron and sludge via the intermediate/fine particular discharge pipe on the lower part of the mixer. The fine particular reduced iron supplied via the intermediate/fine particular reduce iron discharge pipe and 10-90wt% of sludge are supplied to the mixer. The temperature in the mixer is maintained in 600-900°C. The fine reduce iron are mixed with the sludge by the vibration of the vibrator and the fine reduce iron is solidified by maintaining the mixed state for more than 2 minutes. The fine reduced iron solidified by the sludge is discharged via the intermediate/fine particular reduce iron discharge pipe via the discharge screws, and then supplied to a melter gasification furnace.
