PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable telephone system that is connected to an external device so as to attain data communication or the like, without using any accessory such as an adaptor or a cord. SOLUTION: A part whose dimension is equal to that of an IC memory card, such as width and thickness is provided at a part of a housing 3 of the portable telephone system 1, and an IC memory card connector is arranged at one end of the housing 3. Furthermore, the housing 3 incorporates an IC memory card interface section to be connected to the IC memory card connector. The housing 3 is inserted into an IC memory card slot 101 provided in an external device 100 to directly connect the portable telephone system 1 to the external device 100 and to interface both. |
