摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric bimorph fan in which the deterioration of blowing rate and velocity caused by contraflow is prevented, and blowing efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: One end of a metal plate 1 as a bimorph elastic part is interposed between a pair of piezoelectric ceramics 2a and 2b fixed by a fixing jig 3 oppositely to each other. A main vibration plate 4 is connected to the other end of the metal plate 1. Sub-vibration plates 14a, 14b are attached to the metal plate 1 near the connection part to the vibration plate 4, for attenuating contraflow component generated at least by the vibration plate 4. Resonance frequency of the sub-vibration plates 14a, 14b is agreed with that of a piezoelectric bimorph fan. When the metal plate 1 performs bending vibration and the amplitude is increased by the vibration plate 4 for the driving as a fan, the contraflow component is pushed fronward (in a positive direction) by the sub- vibration plats 14a, 14b and remarkably reduced. It is thus possible to increase a blowing rate and velocity, for improving blowing effect and efficiency.
