PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a car roof that has a transparent cover that can be freely raised and lowered, and a sun shade member that can slide freely, be raised and lowered freely, and is constructed as simply as possible and at a reasonable cost. SOLUTION: This car roof comprises a cover 14 that, in the closed position, seals a roof opening 12 in a fixed roof panel 10, and can be raised for the purpose of ventilation. This car roof also has a freely movable sun shade 16 that can slide from a position in which it closes a field of view from a vehicle interior space 18 toward the cover or the cover roof opening, in order to open up the field of the view toward the cover or the roof opening. The sun shade member can also be raised together with the cover to promote ventilation. The sunshade member 16, when it is within a predetermined positional range with respect to the cover 14, is linked to the cover so that it is driven by the sunshade member when the cover is raised. |
