<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body assembling device capable of coping with the various kinds of cars. SOLUTION: Two carriages 35 are provided for a base plate 33 while being laid along a circular guide rails 39, 41 in such a way that they can be moved. A jig 31 housed in jig storages 99 and 101 is set up by a jig handling robot 43 for the carriage 35 set in a jig setting process L. The carriage 35 having the jig 37 set up, is moved to a next work setting process M so as to let a workpiece be set in the jig 37 at this station by an operator 45. While jig setting and workpiece setting are carried out, as for the carriage 35 set in a welding delivery process N, welding is made to the workpiece set in the jig 37 on the carriage 35, the workpiece is delivered by a delivery robot 49 after the welding operation.</p> |
