PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the air resistance without enlarging the dimension of a mirror housing by attaching the front face formed in the car body front side in such a state as forming approximately perpendicular face to the car body advancing direction in using the mirror. SOLUTION: In a mirror housing 1a which is so formed that its thickness in the car body front/rear direction is gradually increased as its separated from the car body, its front face 1c formed in the car body front side is so attached that its angle formed to the car body advancing direction becomes approximately perpendicular in using the mirror. This constitution can extend the outside face 1d of the mirror housing 1a approximately parallel to the car body advancing direction in using the mirror. Responding to it, a connecting part 1e with a large curvature radium R is formed round between the front face 1c and the outside face 1d of the mirror housing 1a. The dimension of the surface of the mirror 5 is same as before so as to secure the sufficient visual field.
