PURPOSE: A guide ring for a fishing rod, which is easily formative and has a falling off preventing structure not scattering wound binding thread, and a guide ring adhering structure are provided. CONSTITUTION: The guide ring(1) comprises: (i) a ring-shaped metallic fixing frame(7)where a guide ring(5) is fixed on the inside; and (ii) a support leg(9) having an adhering leg portion(11), wherein the adhering leg portion(11) is fixed on a fishing rod(A) with binding thread(19) and fine concave-convex shape is formed on the wide area of the upper side of the adhering leg portion(11), which is to be bounded by the binding thread(19). In the guide ring adhering structure fixing the guide ring on the fishing rod(A), the adhering leg portion(11) is fixedly tied up at the fishing rod(A) with the binding thread(19) and an adhesive layer(29) is coated on the surface of the binding thread(19), wherein the adhesive layer(29) extends over the surface of the adhering leg portion(11) and gets hardened after being inserted into a concave portion of the fine concave-convex shape forming over the wide range of the surface of the adhering leg portion(11).
