PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laser oscillator, in which laser medium is cooled effectively, a heat exchanger can be located optimally and maintainability can be enhanced by disposing a laser medium heat exchanger, while inclining in the central direction of a laser medium channel. SOLUTION: A pair of discharge electrodes 1a, 1b are disposed facing opposite, a housing 3 encapsulates a laser medium 2 which is composed of laser gas in case of a gas laser, and a blower 4 circulates the laser medium 2. A heat exchanger 100 for cooling the laser medium 2 by heat exchange is disposed, while inclining in the central direction 13 of channel of the laser medium 2. The heat exchanger 100 and the blower 4 are disposed side by side at the lower part of the housing 3. Since the blower 4 for circulating the laser medium 2 and the heat exchanger 100 for cooling the laser medium 2 are disposed close to each other, workability of maintenance work is enhanced and maintainability of main components for cooling the laser medium 2, i.e., the heat exchanger 100 and the blower 4, is enhanced. |
