PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the flame as similar as possible to the flame of a candle in the case of using this light source for lantern. SOLUTION: A flame-shaped light emission case 40 made of the translucent material is concentrically connected to one end of a cylindrical battery case 30, and three light emitting elements are arranged inside of the light emission case 40 in the axial direction. These light emitting elements are supported in the light emission case 40 through electrical wiring 60, and while a control device for flashing one light emitting element 62 arranged at the highest position among the three light emitting elements 61, 61, 62 is interposed in the electrical wiring 60 so as to stably emit the light in a lower part of the light emission case 40 and so as to flash the light in the only upper part thereof.
