PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contrast of videos of a transmission type screen as a bead screen to be used for a data projector, etc., by suppressing external light reflection without weakening video light. SOLUTION: The transmission type screen 10 is constituted by lining up, arranging and adhering spherical body beads 16 in one layer on the light source side surface of a transparent base material sheet 12, These beads are composed of colorless layers 20 in their central parts and colored layers 18 on the outer side thereof. The external light which is made incident from an observation side, repeats total reflection within the spherical body beads 16 and returns to the observation side is passed through the colored layer 18 portions of the long optical path length within the spherical body beads 16, by which video light is attenuated.
