PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain ease of an edit job with accuracy by accessing a recording tape medium at a high speed to detect identification data, reading resource data from the recording tape medium, storing the resource data at an address approximated to a recording address of the identification data to a prescribed storage means, and replacing approximated resource data with the stored resource data at a low speed so as to update the resource data. SOLUTION: When a magnetic tape is loaded to designate a marker scanning, a tape recording and reproducing section 50 of a hybrid recorder 100A scans the magnetic tape at a high speed in a direction designated by a marker scan button that is clicked to search a marker. A system controller 114 starts searching the markers in a direction designated by a marker search feed button that is clicked to queue up a selected shot mark and to store a picture at the position of the mark to a stamp picture storage area 118 of a memory 125 of an edit controller 100B thereby registering and updating the picture as a stamp picture.
