PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new reproduction function for an image and/or a sound in a digital television broadcast. SOLUTION: A digital television broadcast is received (S1), a program ID (S2) is retrieved from an additional data, and whether or not layout setting data corresponding to the detected program ID is stored in a memory is discriminated (S3). In the case of a program whose layout setting data are stored the corresponding layout setting data are read (S4) from the memory, and a video image of a program by the set layout is displayed (S6). Furthermore, in the case of newly setting a layout, an object whose layout is desired to be adjusted is selected from objects which constitutes image data in a television information (S10), and the user conducts adjustment related to the layout such as movement, magnification/reduction, display ON/OFF for the selected object (S11).
