The inventive indicating device with touch sensor consists of an electrochromic cell or liquid crystal cell known per se which is embedded between two transparent plates, a transparent cover plate and a transparent carrier plate. At least one of the front faces of the transparent cover plate is provided with a radiation source. The light of said radiation source enters the cover plate and illuminates it. At least one photodetector is mounted on the carrier plate in the photosensitive area of which a part or the entire surface of the cover plate is located.
