<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness during the sudden reversal of a displacing direction for a target spark advance value in a VVT(variable valve timing control mechanism) applied to an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: When deviation between a target spark advance angle value VTT and an actual spark angle advance value VT in a VVT is equal to a specified value A or higher and the displacing direction of the target spark advance angle value VTT is reversed, with respect to an F/B(feedback) control quantity corresponding to the deviation between the target spark advance angle value VTT and the actual spark advance angle value VT, a specified value E as a control output correction quantity is added in the displacing direction of a control output value for a specified period, and reflected in a last control output value. Thus, the transition state of the actual spark advance angle value VT is caused to perform quick following-up compared with a conventional case when the displacing direction of the target spark advance angle value VTT is reversed, and responsiveness in the VTT is improved.</p> |
