SHORTS TYPE THROW-AWAY DIAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shorts type throw-away diaper which improves the ease of tearing of the joint parts of the shorts type throw-away diaper and further improves the operability thereof. SOLUTION: This shorts type throw-away diaper 1 has an absorptive body 5 having top sheets 2, back sheets 3 and an absorber 4 and is formed with a waist aperture 10 and a pair of leg apertures 20 by joining and fixing of respective both side edge parts of the abdomen side part 6 and back side part 7 thereof. The joint parts 8 at both side edges are torn and discarded after use. The absorptive body 5 has cover sheets for elastic members disposed between the absorber 4 and the sheets 3. Both side edges are formed of the cover sheet and the sheets 3. The joining and fixing are executed in such a manner that the cover sheets at both side edges are pressed to each other. In such a case, the strength in the diaper longitudinal direction of the cover sheets and the sheets 3 is >=1500 gf/50 mm and the joining strength at both side edges is >=1000 gf/30 mm.
