PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washing and drying machine, which effectively utilizes a space on the inner surface of a lid body concerning the dish washing and drying machine having the lid body to be opened/closed upward. SOLUTION: This machine has a main body 2 opening the upper surface while incorporating a hot air generator and having a washing and driving chamber 3 for drying objects to be dried with hot air from the hot air generator and a lid body 5 for opening/closing an upper surface opening part 4 of this main body 2. Then, on the inner surface of the lid body 5, a holding means is provided for holding a ladle or utensils 8 for cooking almost parallel to the lid body 5.
