SCREW-IN PILE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw-in pile and the method therefor by which the efficiency of the penetration can be increased and the rotary torque can be greatly reduced and the pile can be screwed-in and embedded into a hard ground and further, a large front end sporting force can be obtained. SOLUTION: A hollow pile body 1 having a blade 10 at the tip or near to the tip is installed in the ground in this method. An auger 20 is inserted in the pile body 1 and the tip is projected from the tip of the pile 1 and a force is given to the auger 20 and the pile in the mutually opposite directions to screw the pile body into the ground. When the pile body 1 reaches a specified depth, the auger 20 is pulled up.
