PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent break of a pipe and to eliminate the cause of a spark causing a secondary defect by providing spacers made of a resin or mica between a support member for the tip section of a heater and the fitting faces of a heating chamber. SOLUTION: This electric heating device is provided with a high-frequency heating device 21, a heating chamber 23 having a heating device constituted of a sheathed heater 27, a roasting net 32 mounting an object, a rail section 33 accessibly mounting the roasting net 32 on the side walls of the heating chamber 23, and a juice receiving tray 34 on the bottom face of the heating chamber 23. A support member for the tip section of the sheathed heater 27 is provided, a metal wire 29 is fitted in a pipe 28 made of porcelain to form the support member, and spacers 30 are provided between the pipe 28 and the fitting faces of the side walls of the heating chamber 23.
