PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is to prevent delaying a signal transmission and shortening a circuit due to erosion of the circuit. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display comprises a substrate(10); a gate circuit formed on the substrate and having a gate line(22) and a gate electrode(24) connected thereto; a common circuit formed on the substrate and having a common electrode line and at least one common electrode; a gate insulating layer covering the gate circuit and the common circuit; a semiconductor layer formed onto the gate insulating layer on the gate electrode; a resistance contact layer formed on the semiconductor layer; a data circuit having a source electrode and a drain electrode formed on the contact layer, and a data line defining a pixel; a protective layer covering the data circuit and the semiconductor layer; at least one pixel electrode formed on the pixel, and connected to the drain electrode; and an auxiliary gate line formed on top of the protective layer, and connected to the gate line.
