PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polypropylene resin composition containing a polypropylene having a relatively high molecular weight and a polypropylene having a relatively low molecular weight, having new properties of reducing the melt flow rate at a specific ratio by melt kneading, readily regulating the melt flow rate of pellets and performing the production with a high productivity. SOLUTION: This polypropylene resin composition is a resin composition containing 5-50 wt.% of a polypropylene having a relatively high molecular weight of 3-13 dl/g intrinsic viscosity and 95-50 wt.% of a polypropylene having a relatively low molecular weight of 0.1-5 dl/g intrinsic viscosity and further has 0.01-200 g/10 min melt flow rate (referred to as MFR1) (ASTM D-1238, at 230 deg.C under 2.16 kg load) before melt kneading of the composition, 0.005-100 g/10 min MFR2 after melt kneading in the absence of a cross-linking agent and MFR1>MFR2. The absolute value of the difference is 0.005-100.
