PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject holder capable of stably holding a culture container and arranging a water supply canal of watering only by setting the culture container, usable without hindrance even in a certain change of the dimensional shape of the culture container by forming openings on a film or sheet in specific thickness and intermittently making slits on the outside of the opening. SOLUTION: Openings from which culture containers are inserted and held are formed on plural positions of a film or sheet in 10-30μm thickness. Slits in the circumferential direction are intermittently formed on the outside of the openings. Plural slits in the radius directions widening by the insertion of the culture containers are formed radiately from the center on plural positions of the film or sheet in 10-30μm thickness. Slits in the circumferential direction are intermittently made outside the slits in the radius directions.
