PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draw device small in overall size and light in weight, and easy to drive in drawing a beltlike stretcher onto a drum shaft, and capable of carrying out the operating only by a connecting the shank of rotating tools including rechargeable drill drivers to the drive to rotate it. SOLUTION: The draw device typically for use in hoisting suspended weights G or the like comprises a gear case 2 accommodating a reduction mechanism, a drum shaft revolved by the reduction mechanism, and a belt-shaped stretcher 5 looped about the drum shaft and provided with a hook part 6 with which the weight G is engaged. A connection of the shank of a rotating tool 10 to the reduction mechanism within the gear case 2 followed by a rotation thereof drives or rotates the reduction mechanism and thus the drum shaft, which in turn draws up the belt-like stretcher 5.
