PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic controller for clearly capturing the correlation between each vehicle and its speed even when plural vehicles coexist, and for realizing centralized control in a wide range, and allowing a monitor to perform confirmation even during transferring. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a speed information interface 1b for obtaining the speed information of a vehicle based on a speed mater, vehicle identification code interface 1c, and bi-directional communication equipment 1a for receiving traffic information from a traffic information central control unit 4, and for packing the speed information and vehicle identification data of a vehicle obtained from the speed information interface 1b and the vehicle identification code interface 1c, and for transmitting it to the traffic information central control unit 4. In this case, at least the speed information of the vehicle and the information related with the vehicle identification data can be received through an information terminal 5 for monitor.
