PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input device miniaturized in a sliding operation direction and simplified in the device structure, while reducing the number of parts item. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 8 provided with an operator 7 is supported by a casing 1 freely rotatably and slidably, and terminals 21a, 21b, 21c of a detecting element 17 supported by the rotary shaft 8 are provided with a margin part 21d having flexibility, and a switch 13 is arranged in a direction crossing the sliding direction of the rotary shaft 8. When the operator 7 is rotated, the rotation of the operator 7 is transmitted to the detecting element 17 via the rotary shaft 8. When the operator 7 is pushed so as to slide the rotary shaft 8, the margin part 21d of the terminals 21a, 21b, 21c is deflected while absorbing the quantity of slide, and the detecting element 17 is integrally slid with the rotary shaft 8, and a switch 13 is interlockingly operated with the slide of the operator 7 via an operating member 10. |
