PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation guide capable of absorbing mounting error occurring when the base isolation guide is attached between a foundation and a base isolation object and receiving a large compression force. SOLUTION: Face plates 6a, 6b are attached to upper and lower faces of a guide device 5 consisting of first rails 2a, 2b, a guide block sliding on the first rails 2a, 2b, and second rails 3a, 3b sliding the guide block in the direction in which they cross the first rails 2a, 2b. A deformation member 9 is attached to an upper face of the face plate 6a. The face plate 6b is attached to a foundation, and the deformation member 9 is attached to a base isolation object. At this time, the deformation member 9 absorbs an error which occurs when a base isolation guide 1 is attached to the foundation and the base isolation object. By providing the face plates 6a, 6b, it is possible to increase an area of the deformation member 9 and bear a large compression force loading on the deformation member 9.
