PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to mechanically joint plural metallic sheets, which is provided with a pressing means to be operated by applying a uniform contact pressure to the metallic sheets. SOLUTION: A mechanical joining device is provided with a tool set including a punch and a die to demarcate a cavity. A punch 2 shifts a sheet metallic material from a metal sheet surface and presses it, and tool parts are arranged on a tool holding body 6 having a pressing means 1 supported to sustain the compressive stress of a spring. The tool holding body 6 is provided with a cylindrical cavity 8 to guide a piston 4 to act on the pressing means 1 and a pressurization chamber 5 under the action of the hydraulic pressure medium, and controls the action of the pressurized medium through a valve 7. |
