PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to view monitor video when it is abnormal without letting a user be conscious in a simple configuration by switching output video signal sources so as to output a video signal in which change is detected among signals from plural video signal sources. SOLUTION: Signals from plural signal sources are inputted to a sound IC 43 and a video IC 44, and a microcomputer 45 controls from which signal source to make a signal to be outputted. When a signal generated by a monitor camera 30 and generated when an auto iris function is used is inputted to the microcomputer 45, the sound IC 43 and the video IC 44 are controlled by the microcomputer 45 and are controlled to be switched so as to output video from the camera 30 to a picture tube 12. Thus, video signals from plural video signal sources are inputted to a television device in this way, the change of monitoring video is detected, and television images are switched so as to display video from a monitor camera where the video change occurs.
