PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a main body of a two-handle faucet without being removed from a pipe by removing a handle spindle and a top of the two-handle faucet, and installing a check valve part. SOLUTION: A handle spindle, a top, a box nut and triangular packing are removed from an existing two-handle faucet. A check valve part 12 is installed on a two-handle faucet main body 11 by threadedly engaging the box nut 14 and a handle screw 15 through the packing 13. Sheet packing 17 installed on the tip of a connecting pipe 16 sets a seal by being pressed-fitted to a main body side sheet part 18 of the two-handle faucet by threadedly engaging the box nut 14 and the handle screw 15. Thus, in the existing two-handle faucet enclosing no check valve, the check valve part and a tip fastening apparatus can be inexpensively, easily and reliably installed without performing piping work.
