PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the noise suppression component by which a noise suppression effect at a GHz band is obtained and a noise elimination effect can be obtained even at a frequency band lower than the GHz band. SOLUTION: A coil conductor 2 is placed in a magnetic material 1 containing a ferrite, a couple of external electrodes 3a, 3b are placed on a surface of the magnetic material so as to be in continuity across the coil conductor 2, and a ground electrode 4 is placed to cover at least a major part of the surface of the magnetic material 1 between a couple of the external electrodes 3a, 3b. Furthermore, a magnetic resin formed by kneading ferrite powder to a resin is used for the magnetic material. Or a ceramic ferrite is employed for the magnetic material.
