PURPOSE: A sink and a preparation method of an upper plate of a sink are provided to lengthen the life of a sink by improving the adhering force of waterproof sheet by enlarging the contacting area with the waterproof sheet and by forming an inward recessed end on the upper portion of an inner wall of a hole of a veneer board adhering to the artificial stone and forming a protruded part on an article stone and to make simple and efficient the preparation of the upper plate. CONSTITUTION: A sink is prepared by punching a hole on a veneer board(2) of moderate cost, contacting a circumference piece(7') of a sink bowl(7) of high cost to the bottom of the hole, fixing by fasteners(9) and screw nails(8) and firmly fixing a fan-shape artificial stone(4) having an arc front face on the upper face of the circumference piece. A waterproof sheet(5) is adhered on the veneer board to cover a portion of the upper face of the artificial stone. Thereby, the cost for preparation is reduced and excellent waterproof efficiency is obtained. A control sill(12) is formed on the lower limb of the veneer board, thus the sink bowl is fixed more firmly. And the bottom of the artificial stone and the circumference piece are formed on an inclination. Therefore, the waterproof property is improved.
