PURPOSE: A monitor for the rear of a vehicle is provided to receive and transmit a signal between a supersonic sensor input unit in the rear and an alarm indicator, by wireless, and to equalize performance difference among systems caused by performance difference among a supersonic sensor. CONSTITUTION: A left sensor(62) radiates a supersonic signal under the control of a microcomputer(52) and both sensors(62,64) receive the reflected signal from the supersonic signal of the sensor. The reflected signal from the left sensor is amplified through a first amplifier(66) and a second amplifier(70). Likewise, the reflected signal from the right sensor is amplified through a first and a second amplifier(68,72). The microcomputer calculates the distance between a vehicle and an obstacle on the basis of the input left and right reflected signal, and sends the signals in the alarm indicator through an output unit(50) for modulating transmission. Then the signal is input to a receipt input unit from the output unit for modulating transmission. Finally, a controller generates alarm sound based on the received signal.
