PURPOSE: A method for simultaneously coating inside and outside of water supply steel pipe is provided to reduce the time required for coating the steel pipe by performing the coating for both inside and outside of the steel pipe simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A method for simultaneously coating inside and outside of water supply steel pipe includes the steps of attaching a plurality of ring shaped fixing brackets around a steel pipe(100), removing scales from the inside and outside surfaces of the rotating steel pipe(200), heating the steel pipe by using electric furnace or gas furnace for melting the coating materials on the steel pipe(300), mounting a rotation ring for hanging a crane wire on the fixing bracket(400), producing inside and outside coating layers on the rotating steel pipe in a coating powder tank(500), collecting the coating powder residuals from the steel pipe(600), curing a coating layer with a uniform thickness on the inside and outside of the steel pipe by rotating the steel pipe in a predetermined ratio(700), removing the rotation ring from the fixing bracket and checking a pin hole of the steel pipe(800), and coating the surface of the fixing bracket attached around the steel pipe.
