PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cut a paved road surface to a quadrangle by providing guide holes in corner positions of a quadrangle scheduled to be cut, and cutting between the guide holes by a circular cutter. SOLUTION: A quadrangular cutting line is drawn in a cut portion on the paved road surface, and circular guide holes 2 are provided to be inscribed in the quadrangular corners by a boring apparatus. The road surface is cut between the circular guide holes 2 along a cutting line by a circular cutter, and cut until the tip of the circular cutter reaches the corner. A corner cutter 5 having a cutting edge having a right-angled section is installed in the corner, and vibration or the like is applied to an uncut portion 6 to be cut in the direction of depth of the pavement. Further, a hole is bored in the position of center of gravity of a quadrangular pavement road bed to be cut by a drill, an anchor having an enlarged diameter part at the tip is inserted to force the anchor to bite into the pavement road bed, and the anchor is pulled up by a weight lifting machine to be removed. Thus, the pavement road surface can be efficiently cut to a quadrangle.
