PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary the operating characteristics themselves by changing the area of an orifice in accordance with the load applied and prevent occurrence of phenomena such as chattering. SOLUTION: A damper device comprises a casing 1, a moving body 2 arranged in the casing 1, a working fluid 4 enclosed in the casing 1, and a resilient body 9 furnished with an orifice through which the working fluid 4 flows in association with movement of the moving body 2, wherein the orifice 10 is shaped having at least partially a taper spreading to upstream. The resilient body 9 makes deformation in accordance with the force applied to the moving body 2, which causes a change in the shape and section area of the orifice 10, and the damper characteristics themselves can be changed in accordance with the force applied. The upstream spreading taper 12 of the orifice 10 prevents occurrence of abnormal phenomenon such as chattering. |
