<p>In a centrifugal evaporator, imbalance of the rotating sample-holding assembly can arise, for example due to differential solvent evaporation rates, which can result in destructive vibration of the evaporator and/or samples. A compact mechanical device for compensating for such imbalance is described, together with measures to protect the device from, inter alia, the effects of evaporated solvents.</p> |
