PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of wirings inserted in a suspending member. SOLUTION: In this motor-driven partitioning device comprising plural partitioning panels 3 suspended by a pair of traveling devices 2 self-running on a guide rail 1 fixed to the ceiling and house a control device 6 for controlling the traveling devices 2 in the interior thereof, a collecting terminal (slave machine) 5b for collecting output from many input parts disposed in the traveling devices and a sensor and converting the collected information to a designated data signal and a parent machine 5a enabled to receive the data output from the collecting terminal (slave machine) 5b are connected to each other by a communicating line passed through the inside of a suspending member 13 suspending the partition panel 3.
