PURPOSE: An optical detection system is provided to improve the resolution of the images obtained, or to increase the field of view, by sacrificing the image refresh rate. CONSTITUTION: A CCTV surveillance system is provided with an optical device (60) for providing different images through different areas of the CCTV camera lens (14) controllably at different times. The optical detection system consists of; an image detector with image detection area; a lense device for focus optic from a scene on the detector; an optical device for reacting to the optic through the detector. The optical element forms a plurality of optical channels to transmit each image to the detector through the lense, each image includes array of the optical element to react when the optic passes each part of the lense charging the whole of the image detection area.
