PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag positively prevented from gas leak from the mutual connection part of panels. SOLUTION: An air bag 10 is formed in bag shape by jointing a first main panel 11 and a second main panel 12 at the peripheral edge parts and on the center side and inflated by leading gas from an inflator into a chamber 14 through a gas lead-in port 13. A first inner panel 21 is entirely jointed to the first main panel 11 with an adhesive 20, and a second inner panel 22 is entirely jointed to the second main panel 12 with an adhesive 20. On the center side of the air bag 10, an inner panel 31 is entirely jointed to the main panel 12 with an adhesive, and an inner panel 32 is entirely jointed to the main panel 12 with an adhesive. The inner panels 21, 22 are sewn to each other with sewing thread 23, and the inner panels 31, 32 are sewn to each other with sewing thread 23.
