PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of irradiating light due to secular use and also to keep a high deodorizing effect over a long period of time without bringing the increase of power consumption and to miniaturize an adsorptive body provided with a photocatalyst. SOLUTION: An air purifying device is provided with the adsorptive body carrying the photocatalyst capable of adsorbing and purifying the odor component, or the like, in circulating gas stream by receiving the irradiation of ultraviolet rays, an ultraviolet lamp 7 exiting the photocatalyst by irradiating the light containing the ultraviolet rays to the adsorptive body 6 provided with the photocatalyst, and a reflective plate 8 reflecting the light from the ultraviolet lamp 7 to the adsorptive body provided with the photocatalyst, and the photocatalyst is deposited on the surface of the reflective plate 8. Moreover, the photocatalyst is dispersed and deposited on the surface of the ultraviolet lamp 7 or on the surface of a transparent protecting tube 7a protecting the ultraviolet lamp 7. |
