PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dirt of opening edge parts around legs of shorts by forming a cuff extending between a pair of end edge parts along a pair of side edge parts extending in a longitudinal direction of a napkin base member on upper surfaces of the side edge parts. SOLUTION: By interposing a liquid absorption type core 4 between a liquid permeable front surface sheet 2 and liquid non-permeable back surface sheet 3 in a base member 5 and overlapping and joining the front and back surfaces sheets 2, 3 in a part extended from a peripheral edge of the liquid absorption type core 4, a pair of end edge parts 6 facing each other and extending in a width direction and a pair of side edge parts 7 facing each other and extending in a longitudinal direction are formed. A cuff 12 extending in the longitudinal direction is mounted on each of both of side edge parts. An elastic member 13 extending in the longitudinal direction is mounted on the cuff 12 in an elongating state. As a result, dirt of opening edge parts around legs of shorts can be prevented.
