PURPOSE:To provide a rotary emboss printer for manufacturing a wire which executes an excellent emboss printing by always bringing an emboss printing roller into contact with an uncrosslinked resin layer of an uncrosslinked resin wire in a suitable state irrespective of an axial displacement of the uncrosslinked resin wire. CONSTITUTION:The rotary emboss printer for manufacturing a wire assembled with a die rotary type cross head for manufacturing the wire comprises arms 31 disposed in parallel with a wire feeding direction at a downstream side of the wire feeding direction to a die to be rotated integrally with the die. The printer also comprises an emboss printing roller 37 mounted at one of the arms to emboss-print a surface of an uncrosslinked resin layer of a wire 62, a press roller 41 for retaining the layer in combination with the printing roller, and a spring 43 for applying a force in a direction for holding the layer to the printing roller and the press roller. The arms can be deformed along a direction perpendicular to the wire feeding direction. |
