PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder judgement device which is applicable to quickly judge a cylinder by effectively using a plurality of pulse signals having short pulse intervals to be found from a crank angle sensor. SOLUTION: A cylinder judgement device includes a SGT sensor (a first pulse generating means) 1 for generating a SGT signal having a short cycle of 6 degrees CA equivalent to the rotating angle of a crank shaft 6 when rotated, a SGC sensor (a second pulse generating means) 2 for generating SGC signal (a second pulse signal) different in pulse width at a predetermined cycle in different cylinders with the rotation of a cam shaft 8 to be rotated at a rotating speed being 1/2 the rotating speed of the crank shaft and a cylinder judgement part (a judging means) 3 synchronized with the timing of the SGC signal to be generated for measuring the pulse width of the SGC signal by using the SGC signal to judge the cylinder equivalent to the rotating angle of the crank shaft.
