PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a frequent start and stop of combustion due to a fluctuation in a steam using amount, in a food heating warming device differing in a steam using amount according to an operation state. SOLUTION: This food heating warming device comprises a steaming chamber to contain foods at an internal part, and a seam generating device 10 to generate steam introduced in a steaming chamber, and a steam introduction amount control device 8 to control an amount of steam introduced in the steaming chamber, and the food heating warming device is provided with two kinds of operation states of one being a heating process wherein a food in the steaming chamber is heated by feeding steam in the steaming chamber and the other being a warming process wherein after completion of a heating process, a steam feed amount is decreased to a value lower than that during the heating process to effect warming. In the so formed food heating warming device, the steam generating device 10 is provided with a fuel feed route 18 so that a burner is divided into a plurality of combustion parts 2 and 3 and each of the combustion parts performs independent combustion. A combustion control device 5 to control combustion of the burner receives a signal from a heating warming control device and varies the number of burner combustion parts available during the execution of burner combustion according to the operation state of the food heating warming device.
