PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the smooth torsion of a chain in a torsion roller chain to be used for driving a mechanical part of three-dimensional movement by twistably supporting a longitudinal pin with a U-shaped link bonded to an adjacent roller link at an adjacent side thereof. SOLUTION: A flexible mechanism part is interposed between a roller link 1 formed of adjacent rollers 11, 12 and link plates 13, 14 and a roller link 2 formed of adjacent rollers 21, 22 and link plates 23, 24 to form a flexible roller chain. The U-shaped links 31, 32 are rotatably concentrically fitted with the roller 12, 21 by pins 412, 421, and the adjacent U-shaped links 31, 32 are connected to each other with a longitudinal shaft 7 freely twistable. The thrust in the longitudinal direction is supported by a part having little friction, for example, a washer or a thrust rolling bearing sufficiently lubricated, so as to smoothen the operation.
