A building material, consists of ground recycled brick mixed with lime. A building material consists of ground recycled brick of 56 mm maximum particle size, mixed with 1-10% lime. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) a construction comprising one or more constructional layers (3) of the above building material, separated by non-degradable plastic layers (2); and (ii) production of the above building material.
