PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the printing efficiency by easily recognizing down-loading information and by using font data which are down-loaded in respective printing devices in common when information on the printing devices and information on the font data are managed by a host computer and a server computer and those information are outputted to the printing devices from the host computer connected to the same network. SOLUTION: When font data which are to be printed do not exist in a font down loading management table stored in a server computer, it is discriminated whether down-loading is newly executed or not (S501). When a down-loading processing is determined to execute (S502: YES), the down-loading processing is executed (S503). Data are added, which show that the font data shown by a font name 'row type A' is down-loaded on a printing device shown by a printer name 'LBP-1', to a font down-loading information management table held in the server computer, for example (S504). Font data which are down- loaded are used and a printing processing is executed (S506).
